Bob brings a disarming wit and ease to his role as Vice President of Financial Planning at Braver Wealth, where his savvy knowledge of markets and financial planning have built a loyal client base. His priorities are simple: client success and outstanding service, values he delivers on every day.
While he works with a broad range of clients, Bob specializes in helping executives and professionals plan for retirement and optimize their social security benefits. He takes the time to get to know them, their goals, objectives, priorities and values, then helps them build and implement the financial plans that help them realize the future they envision.
Bob has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Braver Wealth, he was Vice-President and Regional Planning Consultant with Fidelity Investments working closely with high-net worth clients. He has extensive experience in retirement income planning, risk controlled portfolio design and charitable giving strategies.
Bob is a two-year Five Star Wealth Manager winner and has been quoted in the Boston Globe, WSJ.com, and Financial Advisor Magazine. Bob has also hosted an online financial forum on Boston.com.
A graduate of Brandeis University with a B.A. in American Studies, he is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner, a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and is a member of Financial Planning Association and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
Bob resides in Brookline, MA with his wife Johanna and their two children – one in college and one in high school. A man of hobbies and a long list of interests, Bob spends his time away from Braver Wealth photographing (he’s a former photojournalist). He enjoys traveling and plays in several local softball and basketball leagues.
